On January 7-11, 2010 Filleo went to New Orleans, Louisiana for our first team outreach. We flew down with shirts and were able to give sports equipment and school supplies to children in need. We spent our days reading to children, packing up a trailer library to be moved to a new school, putting on a free soccer clinic, giving away watches and other donations, and helping Hurrican Katrina victims rebuild.

On January 3-16, 2008 I went to Monterrey, Mexico for what was to be Filleo's first trip. I brought down over 100 lbs. of soccer equipment and clothing. For the two weeks I was there, the idea behind Filleo slowly took shape. I spent my days building homes, playing soccer with orphans, giving food to the orphans and under privileged families, and meeting people that helped to change my life. We are going as a team to Monterrey, Mexico again this January 7-13, 2011.
